Coronavirus-related disruptions

As the coronavirus spreads across Europe, governments and businesses are taking measures to prevent a new outbreak. We want to inform you about the measures taken by carriers regarding the status of their delivery services.

Our order pickers are facing the same constraints (childcare, sick leave) as all of us in the face of the virus. Delivery and claims processing delays are to be expected in the coming weeks.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

All orders are prepared and shipped within 24 to 48 hours by our teams (excluding weekends and holidays)

Le Mitigeur ensures deliveries in the following geographical areas: EUROPE, CANADA, DOM TOM.

With each order placed, you will receive a confirmation email and then a second email with your shipping confirmation including your order tracking number.

During periods of high activity, order preparation may take 72 hours, or 3 working days.

The choice of carrier and the price may vary depending on the weight, quantity, product availability, and shipping country.

OUR SHIPPING METHODS

• By Colissimo (home delivery, collection point, post office, from 8 to 15 working days)

Some orders may be linked to multiple suppliers, and the items are then sent separately.

DELIVERY COSTS

The cost of delivery is free for all orders placed on our site. Le-mitigeur.com reserves the right to modify this cost for a short period or to cancel it. This modification does not require any notice to the site's customers.

Under no circumstances can a third party claim a refund of the delivery charges in place at the time of purchase. Delivery charge information is always displayed at the top of any page of the site, as well as at the order confirmation step.

REFUND POLICY

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Items that cannot be returned:

  • Gift cards

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery.

Defective item(s) received

If your order is delivered to you defective in whole or in part, you can benefit from a return or a refund of the concerned item(s). To do this, send us a message to the following email address: contact@le-mitigeur.com, including proof of payment (a screenshot of the confirmation email received when placing your order, for example) and a photo of the items concerned. Please also specify in the message whether you want a return of the defective items or rather a refund for them.

Order cancellation (if applicable)

Most orders are processed within 24 hours. If you wish to cancel your order for any reason, send us an email at contact@le-mitigeur.com.

A large majority of items in stock are processed and/or shipped within 24 hours, it is imperative that you contact us during this period, so that we can try to cancel your order before it is processed and/or shipped.

No request to cancel your order will be considered if it has already been processed.

Replacement and store credit (if applicable)

  1. Exchange your item for a different size/color.

Exchanges are only available for the size and/or color of the same style. Exchanging for a different product is strictly not allowed. We recommend returning your original item for a refund and then placing a new order for the product you want.

  1. Refund details and store credit

By default, the refund method is store credit.

If you wish to receive a refund on the payment method used when making your purchase, you must notify us by email at contact@le-mitigeur.com. Orders that are exchanged or items returned/exchanged due to manufacturer's defect will not incur restocking fees. The fees will be applied to the original order and the balance will be refunded.

Only the final price paid (after any applicable discount) will be refunded.

Discount codes or store credits cannot be reissued and are non-refundable.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received it. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request.

If your request is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain number of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If after completing all of these steps, you still have not received your refund, please contact us at contact@le-mitigeur.com.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If in this case you wish to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at contact@le-mitigeur.com.

Gifts

If the returned item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit equal to the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over 75€, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive the item you return to us.
